  • Cubitron disk and structure

    3M™ Cubitron™ II Abrasives

3M™ Cubitron™ II products give a finer and more consistent finish in car scratch repair and paint removal. They cut quicker and last longer, enabling a cooler sanding process and helping you be more productive than ever – reducing cycle time and rework. They require less pressure and the multihole pattern allows for optimum dust extraction in your bodyshop.

3M™ Cubitron™ II Abrasive Discs and Sheets are available in various grades with a very thin, flexible backing that conforms effortlessly to tools and contoured surfaces.

Conventional abrasive minerals vary in form and size, as well as in distribution on the backing surface. These abrasives work irregularly on the surface, generating heat and leading to shorter life of the product with reduced surface quality.

The patented, precision-shaped 3M™ Cubitron™ II minerals are evenly distributed and oriented on the abrasive carrier material, so they're all applied onto the surface with the same intensity. The result is a maximised abrasive action with a fine, even finish and a cooler sanding process for long-lasting abrasives – ideal for use in filler sanding, plastic repair and car paint preparation.

  • 3M™ Blue Abrasives

    3M™ Blue Abrasives

3M™ Blue Abrasives 325U use a blend of engineered ceramic mineral with our Precision Shaped Grain technology. This combination delivers an excellent cut, performance and disc life during car paint removal. It’s multi-hole technology enables excellent dust extraction to deal with any loose debris.

These abrasives are designed for a range of automotive applications, from removing paint to sanding primer prior to basecoat application.

  • 3M™ Gold Abrasives

    3M™ Gold Abrasives

3M™ Gold Abrasives 255P+ are well known throughout the bodyshop industry for their quality, performance and durability. They have upgraded aluminium oxide for advanced performance, a great cut and less loading – giving improved dust extraction.

They’re available in a variety of sizes, grades and hole configuration, and play a key role in all bodyshop processes, including primer sanding and car paint removal.

Each product incorporates the 3M™ Hookit™ fixing system, which when used with a 3M™ Hookit™ back up pad means it can be attached and reattached as many times as needed.

  • 3M™ Finishing and Fine Finishing Abrasives

3M™ Finishing and Fine Finishing Abrasives

    • Finishing Abrasives
3M™ Finishing Abrasives are designed for blending and remove runs, dust nibs and excess orange peel from topcoat finishes before repainting or buffing. Our 260L discs are faster and easier to use than scuffing pads, and they are quicker and more efficient than wet sanding in paint preparation and car scratch repair.
    • 3M’s Flexible Foam Abrasive Discs combine a flexible aluminium oxide abrasive with a soft foam to create a high performing, versatile blending abrasive which conforms to irregular surfaces. Ideal for wet or dry use, by hand or machine.

    • Fine Finishing Abrasives
3M™ Trizact™ Abrasives are used in car paint defect removal and refinement, helping to reduce compounding and buffing time. They consist of precisely-shaped three-dimensional pyramids, distributed uniformly over the surface of the disc.
    • As these pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is constantly exposed, resulting in faster, more consistent cutting throughout the life of the abrasives – ideal for bodyshop applications.
