Aluminium oxide is a popular choice among industrial professionals because it delivers consistent and repeatable performance over the life of the abrasive. Constructed on a durable Y-weight cloth backing these belts provide high performance on a wide range of metals. The waterproof polyester backing material enables the user to use coolant in their abrasive processes. Coolant should be used whenever possible, as it extends the abrasive life and prevents premature loading and glazing of the abrasive.
