Three features to love: one-part application, rapid handling strength and high final strength.
The strength of a structural adhesive with the speed of a hot melt

Polyurethane reactive adhesives (PUR adhesives) are one-part formulations that combine the initial speed of a hot melt adhesive with the strength of a structural adhesive. The bond forms in two stages: when the adhesive cools back down and solidifies like a hot melt it reaches holding strength, then the moisture-curing reaction proceeds over the next 24-48 hours to reach final structural strength. These adhesives are resistant to temperature extremes and flexible to provide vibration and impact resistance.
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ PUR Adhesives have a range of open times that can be adjusted to suit your process, and they have low to no VOCs. These adhesives bond well to metals, glass, ceramics, wood and some plastics such as polystyrene and polyacrylic. The combination of no-mix one-part application, rapid handling strength and high final strength makes PUR adhesives excellent candidates to help improve throughput and reduce processing time.

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ PUR Adhesive TE100

With an extremely fast set time, TE100 is ideal for attaching wood or plastic. Use for adhering edge molding and trim for countertops, for tables, shelving and desks, drawer bottoms, backs and facings—almost any furniture or cabinetry job. TE100 is effective across a wide range of temperatures and offers a 120-second open time for positioning followed by 60 seconds to reach handling strength.

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ PUR Adhesive TS230

3M™ Scotch-Weld PUR Adhesive TS230 is ideal for bonding a variety of materials including wood, ABS, PC, polyacrylic, polypropylene, polyethylene, composites, aluminum, and glass. Use for woodworking, automotive interiors, appliances, electronics, and general assembly. This one-component adhesive requires little to no clamping or fixturing, offers a four-minute open time for positioning followed by 150 seconds to reach handling strength.
