Premium performance 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 Flap Disc 1169F is a long-lasting, versatile abrasive disc that includes all the advantages you expect from a flap disc, including conformability and ease of use with a lower risk of gouging. Featuring 3M Precision-Shaped Grain (now re-engineered with curved sides) and a durable polyester backing, on carbon steel 3M™ Cubitron(TM) 3 Flap Disc 1169F delivers up to 49% more total material removed compared to the 3M™ Cubitron™ II Flap Disc 969F 40+ grade and up to 66% compared to 3M(TM) Flap disc 769F 40+ grade. It holds up strong for medium to high-pressure applications like beveling, weld grinding, deburring, and working on edges and contours. Plus, it leaves a finish that makes it a great choice for applications like blending and surface prep. 3M™ Cubitron(TM) 3 Flap Disc 1169F features our new proprietary 3M Precision-Shaped Grain now re-engineered with curved sides design that continually fractures into sharp points that slice cleanly through metal, unlike traditional abrasives which tend to plow through the substrate.
