3M Grouper Plus Content Services (GPCS) provides reliable, secure processing of patient claims and other coded data in the cloud. The web-based delivery system hosts a selection of classification and reimbursement content users need to group, edit and calculate reimbursement of claims.

The 3M Grouper Plus Content Services (GPCS) means convenience for 3M business partners and their customers. With data in the cloud, 3M experts can quickly make regulatory changes so you don’t have to. A standard interface call over the web allows users access to current content in real time.

This distribution approach means:

  • Immediate access to available content with its various prospective payment methodologies, including multiple versions of groupers and code sets
  • No workflow interruptions or interface changes when new content is received
  • Reduced IT maintenance, no local installation, and ease of implementation using industry standard, SOAP based web services
  • Ability to perform large batch or real time data processing

  • 3M offers a broad range of classification methodologies, including CMS DRGs, TRICARE, Ambulatory Payment Classifications (APCs) and 3M proprietary groupers such as 3M™ All Patient Refined DRGs (APR DRGs) and 3M™ Enhanced Ambulatory Patient Groups (EAPGs). We also offer reimbursement content for more than 50 states and payers, outpatient medical necessity content, “preventables” software and risk adjustment methodologies for population health.
