The 3M Value Index Score (VIS) is a population-centric value measure that complements existing quality and total cost-of-care (TCC) metrics.

It clearly quantifies how well a provider takes care of his or her entire patient population. 3M VIS enhances an organization’s understanding of overall provider and system performance, accelerating and prioritizing the areas where improvement is needed.
